Datuk Juhari Haron had more than 30 years of working experience in auditing industry with the National Audit Department of Malaysia where during his tenure of employment as an auditor, he had the opportunity working in various types of the audit such as Financial auditing, Financial management auditing, Governance, performance auditing, oversight audit for Government Mega Project such as RAPID and PAN BORNEO and has served as Head of Internal Audit in one of the ministry. He also served as the director of Penang State Auditor and Sabah State Auditor. In 2013, he had been called back to Putrajaya to assist the department to set up a new unit and lead the new Division as the Director of The Follow Up Audit Division which among other tasks are to support the action committee of The Auditor General Report to identify punitive issues to be taken up by the enforcement agencies.
He had also been involved very much in assisting and advising the Public Account Committee at the Federal and State level in picking up issues to summon the relevant agencies. He has been one of the Chief Writer of the popular book called Kecemerlangan Pengurusan Kewangan Dari Perspektif Jabatan Audit Negara (2nd Edition), and he is also the head of the subject matter expert in Financial Management and Performance Auditing. He is a certified Instructor Auditor (CIA) and gives training and talks to the auditors and is involved in the MTCP programmed at National Audit Academic. He also writes quite many articles on auditing and published in the National Audit Department journal. He too often represents The Department in international workshops, conferences, and seminars.
He has been giving talks on integrity, fraud, governance, and accountability in government offices as well as and when required. He is married with six kids; the eldest is 33, and the youngest is 15. He has been staying with the family in Kepala Batas, Penang.
