Description
In a hadith authenticated by al‑Tirmidhi, the Prophet Muhammad, peace he upon him, is quoted to have said, “He who does not thank people and appreciate their good deeds to him will not thank God.” In this statement the Prophet of Islam is asserting that being grateful and appreciative is a comprehensive personality trait. If one does not show it to people, one will not show it to God Himself. In expressing my indebtedness to those who helped me write this book, I should like to follow a chronological order extending over a period of more than seven years.
