From AS to AG: Reminiscence of a PTD Officer

The author expresses gratitude to Allah for the strength to write a book reflecting on his 46-year career in public service, including 35 years as a PTD officer and 11 years as Malaysia’s Auditor-General. He highlights the pivotal role of the PTD and its predecessors in the nation’s development and shares his personal experiences in various governmental and public institutions. Motivated by colleagues and the desire to document his experiences for future generations, the author faced delays due to his involvement in the 1MDB investigation and the COVID-19 pandemic.
