Ts. Dr. Siti A’iasah Hashim is an experienced figure in the field of nuclear science and technology, with more than three decades of experience in research, technology development, strategic project management, radiation safety, and the application of particle accelerator technology for industrial development.

She has deep expertise in the adoption of high-impact technologies, innovation management, quality management systems, and the development of science and technology-based organisational capacity. As an Advisor to Humanology, she contributes her expertise in innovation, research and development, technology-driven organisational transformation, quality management, technical governance, human capital development, and technology commercialisation strategies for the public and industrial sectors.

Career & Public Service

She previously served as the Director General of the Malaysian Nuclear Agency, becoming the first woman to lead the agency. During her leadership, various strategic research and development initiatives were strengthened to support the national innovation agenda.

Her experience includes the management of large-scale research programmes, the strengthening of international collaborations, policy development related to nuclear technology, and the application of nuclear technology for industrial use. She has also played an important role in technical governance, risk management, standards compliance, internal auditing, organisational development, and technology transfer to the industrial sector.

Dr. Siti A’iasah holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Universiti Malaya in the application of high-energy electron beams and plasma technology for air pollution control. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

She is a Professional Technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists in the field of Nuclear and Radiological Technology. In addition, she has expertise in international standards-based management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001, as a certified lead auditor.

Her professional contributions include the advancement of national science and technology, the strengthening of quality management systems, innovation management, compliance with international standards, and human capital development in high-impact technology fields.
